IMPORTANT: Consult your e-mail service provider's documentation for information on digital sending limits for your e-mail account. Some providers may temporarily lock your account if you exceed your sending limit.

Most Scan to Email issues are the result of inaccurately programmed settings.

  1. Verify the Date and Time of the Printer match that of the Email Server.
  2. Verify that the following DNS Settings programmed in the printer are correct.
    • Gateway.
    • DNS Servers.
    • Printer Hostname.
    • Network Domain name.

  3. Verify the following Email Server Settings programmed in the printer are correct.
    • Email Server Hostname or IP Address.
    • Communication Port.
    • Encryption Type.
    • Authentication Settings.
